Michigan Epoxy Floor Systems specializes in highly durable abrasion resistant coatings/flooring to specifically suit die-assembly shop floors. Compared to conventional flooring materials, floor coatings, sealers, and other concrete coatings, our industrial epoxy flooring can easily withstand the re-positioning of 5-8 ton dies. They are aggregate reinforced for durability, which exceeds that of thin film epoxy or polyurethane coatings and flooring materials.
Our flooring systems are ideal for concrete floors that are prone to heavy traffic. While conventional concrete coatings and floor sealers do not withstand dragging of palletized loads, the MEFS reinforced, epoxy flooring can tolerate 13,000 psi of compressive strength, which is 3 times greater than concrete. Additionally, their curing time is fast and operations can be finished overnight.
At MEFS epoxy flooring can be trowel applied and sealed with a weak epoxy coating, which contains excessive fillers, to reduce costs. Though the industrial flooring is thinner, it contains more epoxy resin than old technology mortar systems. Our flooring materials are resin-rich for uniform high-density from top to bottom. In addition, the strength is 3-4 times greater than conventional concrete coatings and floor sealers, which protects floors from surface abrasion.
